meI have baby fine strawberry blonde hair.  It is a rather unusual color and I like it, so I do not color my hair at all.  I do, however, have trouble finding a good shampoo.  I tend to have oily hair in summer and dryer hair in winter.  Shampoos that combat my oily hair in the summer do not work well in the winter, as they dry my hair out to much and I have breakage.  When I use products for dry hair or products to add shine, they weigh down my fine straight hair so that it has no body.  Volumizing products just dry me out.  Because of this struggle, when I find a shampoo and conditioner combination I like, I stick with it.

blonde glam from RedkenIn an effort to spend less money, this summer I switched from my then favorite shampoo, Redken All Soft, to a cheaper one, Dove Sheer Moisture.  As usual, all was fine during the summer, although my hair was not as soft as with the Redken.  When fall came, it was time for a change.  I decided to switch back to my tried-and-true Redken products, despite the increase in cost.  Then I saw Redken’s new Blonde Glam line.  Wow.  I cannot say enough good things about these products.  My hair is soft, shiny, and light with plenty of body.  Blonde hair can get dull and products to make it shine can leave it looking greasy, or just weigh fine hair down too much.  I tried the Crystal Flash, and it works wonders.  It is not greasy or heavy and leaves my hair with a wonderful shimmering shine.  These products are worth every cent!

  • Your hair is so pretty! My hair doesn’t like the cold Michigan winters. I’ve been using Garnier Fructis, and it seems to be doing a good job. Whenever I get new growth though, my hair wants to stand on end no matter what I do to it! LOL
